"For anyone life is filled with constant highs and lows, but especially for us diabetics and our blood sugars! I live beyond by accepting the bad moments and retaining a positive outlook on my relationship with Diabetes and I love to help others get through the tough times and create their own positive outlook on Diabetes as well. Since being diagnosed with Type 1 many doors, I would never have discovered otherwise, have been opened and I am currently embarking on the journey of being the New Zealand representative for the International Diabetes Federation Youth Leadership Programme. Life with Diabetes is certainly a rollercoaster, however it is important to me to never let Diabetes be the reason I say “no”, instead, by working with my Diabetes and making adjustments I say “yes” to every opportunity!" - @tess.james
